Theodore Roosevelt Island

Theodore Roosevelt Island is a memorial dedicated to the 26th president, a great outdoorsman and conservationist. Featuring miles of hiking and walking trails as well as a boardwalk through its swamps and marshes, the park also offers a ranger-led safari tour on Saturdays. Bird watchers will also find much to see on the island, from goldfinches to cardinals and migratory birds.
