Canada has everything; vibrant cities, stunning natural beauty and it’s the second best country in the world.
All of that wasn’t enough, though. Canada decided it wants the best holiday attractions.
One park took the stunning natural beauty of the British Columbia province to the next level with Christmas lights. No regular seasonal display will hold up to the beauty of this one.
On any normal day, the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park in Vancouver is surrounded by stunning natural beauty. The bridge stretches over the Capilono river, 230 ft. above the ground. It and 7 other suspension bridges tucked in the thickly forested area provide “squirrel-eye views.”
During the holiday season, the park is transformed into something out of fairy tale.
The lights were so popular last year that, according to the park’s website:
“Canyon Lights imagery was so popular, it was the top trending hashtag in Canada for #ChristmasLights on Instagram.”
The park is a popular attraction, so don’t expect to be one with nature. It’s also on the pricy side, and is not handicap accessible (crutches, wheelchairs and strollers are prohibited on any of the suspended attractions).
It looks like Canada’s done it again. Maybe it’s time to join those crazy Canadians.
