No matter what time of year you visit Tampa, the weather is always perfect for a morning walk along the waterfront. Start your day by heading to the Ballast Point Pier for a peaceful stroll and to watch the sunrise over the Bay.

After working up an appetite, stop by Samaria Cafe for breakfast. This local favorite is a classic American diner known for its delicious all-day breakfast and Greek dishes. Nestled in the heart of downtown Tampa since 2009, Samaria Cafe offers both healthy and hearty options, making it the perfect place to fuel up for a day of exploring.

A morning walk, check. A delicious breakfast, check. Now that you’re feeling refreshed and energized, it’s time to continue ticking things off your Tampa Bay bucket list. It’s time to explore one of Tampa’s most popular attractions—the Florida Aquarium.

Home to over 20,000 aquatic plants and animals, this world-class aquarium is a must-see for anyone visiting Tampa. From penguins and stingrays to alligators and turtles, This Tampa Bay excursion highlights the remarkable marine life of the Gulf of Mexico. Be sure to check out the famous Shark Ray Bay exhibit, where you can see sharks, rays, and other magnificent big fish swimming above you.

After exploring the aquarium, you can breathe in some fresh Tampa air with another walk or bike ride along the Tampa Riverwalk. This scenic trail winds its way through downtown Tampa and offers stunning waterfront views. The Riverwalk is also a great place to do some shopping, as it is home to world-class retailers and unique local boutiques.

After a morning of exploring, it’s time to enjoy some authentic Tampa cuisine for lunch. El Puerto Restaurant & Grill is an excellent option for those who want to try traditional Latin American dishes. This family-owned restaurant serves up delicious Chorizo, Empanada, Argentina, and other classic entrees.

Once you’re full from lunch, walk off those calories with a stroll through the historic Ybor City neighborhood. This unique area was once the cigar capital of the world and is now home to a variety of shops, restaurants, and bars. Be sure to check out some of the popular attractions, such as the Ybor City Museum State Park and the Cuban Club.

You now have two options for the remainder of your afternoon. First, you can head to McKay Bay Nature Park & Trail for some peace and quiet. Here, you can take a leisurely walk through the park and enjoy the Florida wildlife. Or, if you’re looking for something more thrilling, you can take a ride on one of Tampa’s zip lines. The park is home to an observation deck and trails that offer stunning views of the Bay, while the zip lines provide an exciting way to experience Tampa’s natural beauty.

This world-class performing arts center is one of the largest in the country and offers a wide variety of performances throughout the year.

If you’re looking for a more distinctive evening experience, head to the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. We all know that gambling can be a risky proposition, but that’s half the fun, right? It’s also home to world-class entertainment and award-winning restaurants, like the Sugar Factory and Rise Kitchen & Deli.

The Sugar Factory is known for its delicious desserts, while Rise offers more casual fare, such as sandwiches and salads. It’s the perfect place to grab a bite before shaking your moneymaker on the casino floor. Are you willing to take a chance on Lady Luck?

End your night on a high note by heading to Club Prana. This popular nightclub offers multiple levels and features a variety of styles, from reggae to hip hop. Get your groove on and vibe with the locals as you dance the night away, enjoying nothing but good energy and tasty drinks.
