AquaBar is the go-to spot inside Rivers Casino Des Plaines, just steps from the Poker Room and Events Center. Stylish, bold and chic, this bar offers an elevated experience where seasoned bartenders make a splash with aquatic-themed cocktails, like the Under the Sea cocktail made with tequila, Grand Marnier, orange and grapefruit juice, and ginger ale. For something more straightforward, order a bottle of domestic beer or a pint from one of Chicago’s finest craft breweries, such as Revolution or Goose Island. And don’t pass on the wine menu – the Sea Glass Riesling is an excellent balance between dry and sweet, while the Hess Cabernet Sauvignon provides perfectly fruity notes.

The party never stops at Lotus, a sophisticated cocktail lounge located at the center of the casino floor. Here, bartenders whip up drinks crafted by acclaimed mixologists Drew Levinson and Bridget Albert underneath a giant steel lotus flower that sits above the circular bar area. Sip on a specialty cocktail like a lemon drop martini. And on Fridays and Saturdays, the bar dials up the fun with pumping beats from live DJs like Julio Sierra and DJ Q.
