Where to Stay

There are plenty of lavish places to stay in South Jersey, but for a truly luxurious experience, The Westin Mt. Laurel is hard to beat. This all-suite hotel boasts oversized accommodations with plenty of space for you and your loved ones to relax in style. Plus, the hotel is just minutes from some of South Jersey’s best shopping and dining experiences, so you’ll be right in the middle of all the action.

If you’re looking for something a little more low-key, The Inn on Holly Bed & Breakfast offers the perfect solution. Just two blocks from Historic Pitman, this inn is in a Victorian home built in 1906. Enjoy a glass of wine on the wrap-around porch (or the free-standing claw foot bathtub), enjoy breakfast made from locally sourced ingredients, and enjoy access to nearby attractions.

Day 1: South Jersey Wine Tasting

Fields of grapevines as far as the eye can see, delicious tastings, and beautiful views – New Jersey is world-renowned for its wineries and vineyards. And South Jersey, in particular, is home to some of the best in the state.

It’s time to kick off your #RoséAllDay long weekend with a tour of some of South Jersey’s best wineries. With over 30 to choose from, you’ll have no trouble finding the perfect place to enjoy a glass (or bottle) of your favorite rosé.

Kick off your adventures with the wineries of the Two Bridges Wine, Beer and Spirits Trail, where you can tour twelve local vineyards in five South Jersey towns. Enjoy wine tastings and take in the sweeping views of the countryside. The Two Bridges Wine Trail gets its name from the Commodore Barry and the Delaware Memorial Bridges, which span the nearby Delaware River. As you explore the vineyards, you’ll have the chance to try a variety of wines. South Jersey wine country is known for its world-class chardonnay, but you also find plenty of delicious rosés to taste. Try the Dry Rose at Auburn Road Winery – it’s light, pink and ripe with the soft fragrance of tangerine, citrus and strawberries. At Bellview Winery, the rosé offers a delicate flavor of red cherries and rose petals, bright and floral with hints of nuttiness on the palate.

When you’re all vineyard-ed out, stop by Russo’s Fruit & Vegetable Farm for their famous apple cider doughnuts – a perfect way to cap off a day of wine tastings. Then, continue your weekend with a visit to one of South Jersey’s many charming towns. Visit historic Haddonfield for shopping and views of the Philadelphia skyline from the Camden Waterfront.  For a unique experience, tour the Battleship New Jersey Museum and Memorial, visit the hippos at Adventure Aquarium, or catch a concert with your favorite bands at the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion.

Day 2: Luxurious Spa Day

Ready for the ultimate spa day? Whether you seek a relaxing massage or a revitalizing facial, South Jersey’s luxurious spas have everything you need to unwind and recharge.

Spavia Day Spa of Moorestown is the perfect place to start your day of relaxation. This unique spa offers various services, from massages and facials to nail care and waxing. Book the Renew package, which offers over three hours of pampering, complete with a signature massage, refreshing facial and purifying detox wrap! In Medford, find nirvana at A To Zen Bodyworks Healing Spa. Let your stress melt away with a Reiki treatment, or work out your kinks with a deep tissue massage.

After your morning at the spa, continue the relaxation with a leisurely lunch at one of South Jersey’s many farm-to-table restaurants, like Harvest Seasonal Grill & Wine Bar (because there’s no such thing as too much wine). Indulge in seasonal dishes like jumbo lump crab cakes with lemon tartare, tuna poke nachos and lemon kale pesto pasta. Of course, a glass of wine (or two) is a must – they offer 50+ wines by the glass, including three types of rosé.

After lunch, enjoy a dose of retail therapy in South Jersey’s charming downtowns. Stroll amongst historical landmarks and browse boutiques, unique small businesses and more in towns like Collingswood, Haddonfield, Bordentown and Mount Holly. Beyond shopping, take some time to experience a bit of local history at one of South Jersey’s many museums and historic sites, from the Roebling Museum to the Red Bank Battlefield.

End your day with a fine dining experience at Albertino’s Italian, a hidden gem in Collingswood renowned for its delicious authentic Italian cuisine. Start with the decadent Burrata con Vegetali, creamy burrata cheese topped with roasted peppers and fig glaze. Dig into plates of spaghetti with veal or fettuccine tossed with colossal shrimp. And, of course, there’s no better way to finish the night than with a glass of prosecco. Make reservations, tables can fill up a week in advance!

Day 3: Farmers Markets & More Wine

On your third and final day, explore South Jersey’s many farmer’s markets. Here, you’ll find locally grown produce, freshly baked goods, and so much more. Pick up local honey, seasonal sauces and health and beauty items at Cheyenne’s Road Market in Marlton. Pick up fresh-baked pies, jams and syrups (and a cone of their famous custard) at Pennsville Farm Market and Custard Stand. Or, check out Zimmerman’s Country Market for fresh flowers, baked goods and more.

After you visit the farmer’s market, conclude your getaway with a final day of wine tasting along the Cape May Wine Trail! Spanning 19 miles, this trail is home to eight different wineries. Explore the 26-acre Cape May Winery and sample 11 different varietals with a wine flight in their tasting room. At the Hawk Haven Vineyard & Winery in Rio Grande, sip and savor their dry or sparkling rosé. Alternatively, enjoy small-batch wines at Jessie Creek Winery, where you can enjoy a boutique atmosphere and partake in various fun events throughout the year, from the Sunset in the Vineyard Music Series to Community Game Nights and Sip & Shop experiences.

End your #RoséAllDay long weekend with live music and a delicious dinner at Dooney’s Pub. This Irish-owned and Irish-themed bar brings the fun. Chow down on bangers and mash, classic fish n’ chips or hearty beef stew. Wash it all down with a craft brew or glass of rosé.
