Austin Zoo
The mission of Austin Zoo is to assist animals in need through rescue, rehabilitation and education. Located on the southwest edge of Austin off of Highway 290 West and Circle Drive, Austin Zoo is a pleasant Hill Country zoo where visitors from around the world can come to learn about animals close-up, spend some time outdoors getting exercise and have fun.

Regular Hours (February 1 – October 31)
Open Monday through Friday from 9:30am – 5:00pm
Open Saturday, Sunday and holidays from 9:30am – 6:00pm
Winter Hours (November 1 – January 31)
Open daily from 9:30am – 5:00pm
Please Note: Austin Zoo closes early the 2nd Saturday of May every year for our annual Austin Zoo Revue and Grand Gala, and on October 28, 2019 for a private event. No one will be admitted after 4pm with the Zoo closing at 5pm.
Austin Zoo is closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.[/one_half]
