National 9/11 Pentagon Memorial

The National 9/11 Pentagon Memorial is dedicated to the preservation and memory of the family members, friends, loved ones, and first responders who lost their lives during the September 11th terrorist attack on the Pentagon. The memorial is home to 184 benches inscribed with the victims’ names, and visitors can take a free audio tour that features interviews with family members, survivors and first responders.

The National 9/11 Pentagon Memorial honors the 184 people whose lives were lost at the Pentagon and on American Airlines Flight 77 on September 11, 2001. Each of the memorial units commemorates the life of one of the victims and is organized by the year the victim was born.
