St. Pete Pier

This brand new attraction is much more than a pier with 26 acres of outdoor spaces, activities, dining and art. Recently named a top new attraction in the country by USA Today, the St. Pete Pier melds park areas with a children’s playground, fishing deck, local marketplace, waterfront restaurants, outdoor art and more.

See lionfish and hold a hermit crab at the Tampa Bay Watch Discovery Center or explore the outdoors by renting a bike with the Coast Bike Share App. The St. Pete Pier also has its own tram system with four stops throughout the area.

Make sure to stay after sunset to watch the outdoor art installation “Bending Arc” light up in brilliant shades of red, magenta and purple. The billowing net sculpture moves with the breeze and was created with over a million fiber knots.

A tranquil sunset over a calm sea with an elevated structure silhouetted against the orange sky. A long pier extends over the water with palm trees lining the walkway, creating a serene coastal scene.
