Kalahari Resorts

Over 223,000 square feet of water slides, wave pools, and lazy rivers make Kalahari Resort in Round Rock, Texas, one of the world’s largest indoor water parks. Grab a surfboard and test your skills on the FlowRider, a five-foot wave simulator that mimics ocean waves. Feeling adventurous? Climb 60 feet above the waterpark floor and plunge through the roof on the Screaming Hyena. Afterward, grab a drink and unwind at the Grotto Swim-Up Bar.

Great Wolf Lodge

This 38,000-square-foot indoor water park in Kansas City is home to a four-story water fort treehouse, a water playground, and a kiddie pool area. If you’re feeling brave, check out the Howling Wolf, an enclosed water slide that whips you through several twists and turns, plunging straight into the pool below. Cool off in the lazy river, then take a break and relax in the indoor hot springs, which are open to all ages!

Aquatopia Indoor Waterpark

Located at Camelback Resort in Tannersville, Pennsylvania, Aquatopia Indoor Waterpark boasts Pennsylvania’s largest transparent Texlon roof, so you’ll get all the comforts of the indoors while still enjoying the sunshine. Check out the Skydive Plummet for a 60-foot free-fall drop slide, or grab a tube and hop on the Storm Chaser, North America’s longest uphill water coaster. Want to take it easy? Unwind in the hot tub while the kids explore the other 11 waterslides.

With eight different water parks and over 50 waterslides, Wilderness Resort in the Wisconsin Dells is every kid’s dream come true! At Klondike Kavern Waterpark, the adults can enjoy the indoor-outdoor spa while the kids float around the lazy river, plunge down the Mine Shaft Drop, or whip around on thrilling raft rides. This park’s FlowRider creates ocean-like waves with 50,000 gallons of water; you can even take surfing lessons!

Silver Rapids Indoor Waterpark

Part of Silver Mountain Resort, Silver Rapids Indoor Waterpark in Kellogg, Idaho, is the perfect spot for family-friendly water fun. Start in the 315-foot lazy river, try out your skills on the over-water obstacle course, then ride the Moose Sluice, a twisting and turning family raft ride. Don’t forget about The Warm Spa – it’s not as hot as traditional hot springs, making it ideal for swimmers of all ages.

Big Splash Adventure

This 40,000-square-foot water park in French Lick, Indiana, is attached to a 150-room hotel, making it perfect for a weekend getaway. Start on the Jolly Roger Jetty to twist and turn around seven curves, shoot down the Scallywag Scuttle tube slide, then check out Pirates Plunder for a thrilling and enclosed body slide. If you love underwater exploration, the DIVR Virtual Reality experience is a must-try!

Splash Lagoon Indoor Water Park

This Polynesian-themed water park in Erie, Pennsylvania, has no shortage of things to do! Spin around on the Typhoon Twister, try out your surfing skills on the FlowRider, and race down the Hurricane Hole at 40 miles per hour. Get in line for the Yellowjacket Drop to serpentine down an open drop that will send you high up onto a wall, making you feel like there’s no gravity. For something a little more tame, the outdoor wave pool has gentle waves and sun loungers for ultimate relaxation.
